Application Arrangements

Eligibility
The applicant should be a non-profit making organisation with charitable status under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap. 112).

To accommodate interested organisations that may not already possess charitable status as described above, non-profit making organisations that have formally submitted an application to the Inland Revenue Department will also be allowed to apply but their applications may only be taken forward into the second round selection stage if by then they have received approval for the requisite charitable status.

Deadline for Submission
For the first batch of buildings under the Scheme, the deadline for application is 21 May 2008.

Method of Submission
The following documents should be sent by hand or by post to the Scheme Secretariat at 21/F, Murray Building, Garden Road, Central before the application deadline:

(a) the original plus two copies of the completed application form;
(b) a disk copy of the completed application form;
(c) documentary proof of eligibility to apply (please refer to ˇ§Eligibilityˇ¨ section above);
(d) copies of relevant registration documents;and
(e) supplementary information of the application, if any.
