Roving exhibitions of "Heritage Fiesta 2026" will travel to 18 venues across the territory from October to December. The 12 selected historic buildings in the Northern Metropolis will be introduced through exhibition panels and photographs, enabling the public to appreciate the unique metropolitan landscape of the Northern Metropolis — one characterized by the "integration of urban and rural areas and the co-existence of development and conservation" — within their own local community.
Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Antiquities Advisory Board (AAB) this year, the exhibition features dedicated panels which trace the work of the AAB over the past five decades. Designated exhibition venues will also hold "Parent-child Historic Building Colouring Workshops" and offer a full set of stamp prints of our spotlighted historic buildings, along with a commemorative stamp print for the AAB's 50th anniversary, for public collection. All activities are free of charge.
