The Development Bureau launched its signature heritage conservation initiative - “Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme” (Revitalisation Scheme) in 2008. So far, 24 government-owned historic buildings have been included in seven batches of the Scheme. The Revitalisation Scheme successfully injected new life into these historic buildings. Amongst them, five* received the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation.
Spring is the perfect time for excursion. The "Springtime Heritage Adventure" campaign showcases 14 projects under Batches I to V of the Revitalisation Scheme, encouraging you to visit these 14 historic buildings, appreciate and experience their captivating architectural splendor and cultural legacy that have stood the test of times in Hong Kong.
