In order to promote heritage conservation work and to collect the public views on the revitalisation of King Yin Lei, the Commissioner for Heritage's Office of the Development Bureau will hold a roving exhibition in September and October 2012 to display the exhibition materials, including display panels and scaled models, submitted by the shortlisted applicants for revitalisation of King Yin Lei under the Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme.

The exhibition will also be held at four special open days on 6, 7, 13 and 14 October 2012 at King Yin Lei, 45 Stubbs Road, Hong Kong. Each open day will have two morning sessions, from 9.30am to 11am and 11am to 12.30pm, and two afternoon sessions, from 2pm to 3.30pm and 3.30pm to 5pm. A total of 14,400 admission tickets for the open days have been distributed. Admission ticket holders are reminded to visit King Yin Lei for the allocated session of the open days.

The public are reminded that no parking facilities are available for visitors at the exhibition venues.Visitors are advised to use public transport to access the venues. Visitors of the King Yin Lei Special Open Days can use the following public transport services to access King Yin Lei:

1. New World First Bus Route No. 15 (Central – The Peak)
2. New World First Bus Route No. 15B (Tin Hau Station – The Peak) (operates on Sundays and public holidays only)
3. Special Service of Green Minibus Route No. 26 (Lee Garden Road, Causeway Bay – King Yin Lei)

King Yin Lei is a declared monument and one of the historic buildings in the third batch of the Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme, which invites revitalisation proposals from non-profit-making organisations for adaptive reuse by operating in the form of social enterprise.
