Under Batch V of the Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme of the Development Bureau, the Former Lau Fau Shan Police Station has been revitalised into “Former Lau Fau Shan Police Station - Hong Kong Guide Dogs Academy”, which is used to train guide dogs and therapy dogs to support people in need. The academy also promotes public understanding towards the Former Lau Fau Shan Police Station, guide dogs services and the visually impaired through organising guided tours.
