Music performances at historic buildings are held from January to April
In support of the "Appreciate Hong Kong" Campaign, the Commissioner for Heritage's Office of the Development Bureau launches outdoor music performances with four music groups at four historic buildings during weekends from January to April. Members of the public are welcome to enjoy the free performances to appreciate the city’s rich heritage from another delightful perspective.
The four historic buildings are the YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel in Shek Kip Mei, a project which recently received the Honourable Mention under the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation; the Green Hub in Tai Po (i.e. Old Tai Po Police Station) and the Stone Houses Family Garden in Kowloon City, both projects under Batch II of the Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme; and PMQ, a project under the Conserving Central initiative.
Details of the music performances are as follows:
If typhoon signal no. 3 (or above) or rainstorm warning (red or black) is hoisted at 8am or after 8am on the day of the event or during the event, the event will be cancelled. Should the event be cancelled, it will not be rescheduled.
The public is welcome to enjoy these free activities on a first-come-first-served basis.
